Course description: IPL is an intensive, three-trimester course in Internet-oriented programming. The overall aim of the course is to provide a context in which students can develop fluency in core Java and a detailed knowledge of the J2EE platform. The third trimester of IPL focuses on the J2EE distributed application framework. In particular it involves a detailed study of the J2EE enterprise Java beans (EJB) component model and of the general structure of J2EE applications.
